Snap chat rolled out six second video advertisement that users cant skip.
There is saying to get more business you need to follow the trend that what other companies are doing. Snap chat has recently rolled out six second video ads. The worst part from the users point of view is these are non skippable ads. The company has been testing these non skippable ads since a month and ads has been live now. These ads are linked to any of the website or a app. Ads would appear for 6 seconds and goes off.
Previously, Snap chat was fully dependent on skippable ads since 2014 which seems to be unsuccessful. That time company was against to forced the users to view non skippable ads. Now, like I said following the trend company has rolled out these forced ads and users have view it for 6 seconds or basically wait for 6 seconds. This could be irritating for many users including me.
Important part is that these ads would appear only in Snap chat shows collection and not in user generated stories.
Snap chat has a tough competition with Instagram. This feature is basically rolled out to attract investors and need for monetisation. If these goes well snap-chat would also be rolling out these forced ads in other areas of the application.
